When you set a deadline while assigning a microlearning, online training, or learning path, reminder emails are automatically sent to the employee. This helps ensure that learning activities are completed on time.
For online trainings and learning paths
The employee automatically receives reminders at the following times:
| Timing | Reminder |
|---|---|
| 7 days before the deadline | 1st reminder |
| 3 days before the deadline | 2nd reminder |
| 1 day before the deadline | 3rd reminder |
| 3 days after the deadline | 4th reminder (online trainings only, if not yet completed) |
Notifications for team managers
If a team manager has enabled notifications, they will receive:
An email 1 day before the deadline
An email 1 day after the deadline (if the employee has not yet completed the training)
Adjusting or disabling reminder emails
Would you like to disable reminder emails? You can do this via the Email templates section in the LMS.
Search for the following templates:
Online training deadline approaching
Employee: learning path deadline approaching
Set the desired template to Inactive to disable the corresponding emails.
Deadlines within a learning path
You can also set deadlines for learning activities within a learning path:
The deadline starts from the moment of assignment or from when the learning path is started
You can optionally set additional notifications
When an employee is assigned a learning path, online training, or microlearning, the deadline is immediately communicated in the confirmation email.
Reminders for qualifications
Within qualifications, you can set specific reminders with flexible timing options:
Choose days, weeks, months, or years
Specify the exact number (e.g. 2 weeks before the deadline)
Select who receives the reminder:
Only the employee
Only the team manager
Or both
