It is possible to start a discussion in online courses which have been made via the Studytube authoring tool. These courses are opened directly in your learning environment without your being redirected to a new tab or window.
If you want to start a discussion, click on the three dots at the top of the page in the course. A dropdown menu will appear. Click on 'Add discussion' to start a new discussion. Choose a topic and description of the discussion and then click on 'Add'. Your discussion has started and is available for all users within the academy who have access to this course.
If you do not see this option, the discussions have been switched off by the administrator of the online course. Should you have any questions about this, contact the academy administrator.
You can see the discussions that have already started when you click on 'Discussions' in the dropdown menu. Here you can add a response to the discussion by clicking on the button 'Add response'. A text box will be shown where you can enter your input.
