Using additional user information in a trigger

It is possible to activate a trigger based on the additional user information that is linked to a user in Studytube.


For example, if you have added a field to the user information called 'Level', you can use it in the automation trigger if you select the option 'Additional user information is updated' under 'Trigger event'. For example, think of:


IF the 'Level' field contains the value 'Level 3 Nurse',

THEN we must assign a qualification especially for 'Level 3 Nurse',

AND we automatically add this employee to a team 'Level 3' and to team 'Nurses'


When you go to 'All users' in the LMS, you can view a user account by clicking on it. Then go to the 'Information' tab where you will see the additional fields that have been set up especially for your academy under 'Additional information'.


For each academy it is possible to enable additional fields in which relevant employee information can be stored. Consider a custom field for your contract information.


If you want to add an extra field to the user information in your academy, you can submit a request to our Platform Service team via our contact form.


If applicable, these can also be completed by an automatic HR integration (eg from AFAS).
