Naming

In this article, you’ll learn how to customize the default terminology in Studytube to match your own preferences.

What is customizable? 

You can decide how the following elements are named within your academy:

• Internal events

• External offerings

• Learning paths

• Collections

• Qualifications

• Roles

• My development

• My Performance (LXP)

• Performance tab (LMS)

• Buttons such as “Register” and “Create account”

You can customize this terminology in all seven supported languages. You can also choose whether capitalization is shown exactly as you enter it.

⚠️ Please note: Articles (such as the, a, an) are not changed automatically. For example, if the original label is the internal event and you change internal event to internal training, the result will be the internal training. Keep this in mind when choosing your new terminology.

Where is the customized terminology shown?

After saving, the customized terms are immediately displayed in:

• The academy

• The LMS

• Emails sent to users from Studytube

How do you change the naming?

Go to Admin settings > Naming.

Select the language in which you want to make the changes.

Adjust the terminology as desired.

Click Save at the top of the page.
