Which topics can I use within the author tool?

You can add various topics in the author tool which all have different goals. In total, eight variants are available.

1. Explanation: this starts with a title and you can then add the rest of the explanation.

2. Single choice question: in this option, only one of the answers to the question can be correct.

3. Multiple choice has the same structure as the single choice. The only difference is that multiple answers can now be correct.

4. Fill in the blanks: for this type of question you can have employees complete missing text. You can also show a dropdown containing answers instead of an empty input field.

5. Text assignment: the text assignment allows employees to answer a question in an empty text field.

6. Document assignment: an employee can upload a document on the basis of a question. 

7. Video assignment: by asking a question or explaining an answer in a video, employees can respond with their own uploaded video. Directly recorded from the webcam or by uploading a video.  
   

8. Fork: using a fork allows you to show different topics based on an employee's answers. If you use this option, indicate the topics to follow when choosing a deviating route.
