How do I share learning items with another Academy?

Modified on Tue, 12 Sep, 2023 at 3:27 PM

To easily share learning items with another Academy, you can use the shared content library. This is a content library where you can add learning items that you share with all academies linked to this content library. If you are interested in this, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

When you start using the shared content library, you can submit a request to Studytube Platform Service to create a shared library for you. When this is done, you can easily share content between different academies with this library. So if you manage multiple academies, you can add learning items to multiple academies in this way.

When Studytube creates this library, you can indicate whether the learning items should by default be visible or not in the Academy when they are added to the shared content library. You can also indicate which Academy manages the library. The LMS managers of this Academy then have the permission to add and remove learning items.

When the library is linked to your Academy, you’ll find the tab ‘Shared content library' in the LMS under ‘Settings'.

On the shared content library page in the LMS, you can see which libraries are linked to your Academy. This means you can have Studytube link several libraries to your Academy.

With the button ‘Add learning' you can add new learning items to the library. These are immediately added in all other academies linked to this content library.

When you click on the down arrow, you can also choose other forms of learning. You can currently choose online courses (also LTI training), video, document, article, learning track and collection.

When you hover over a learning item, an X appears on the right, which lets you remove the item from the library.
