How do you manage authors of microlearnings?

In this article, you’ll read how to add, view, and manage authors within microlearnings. What you can do exactly depends on the rights you have within the academy.


Setting permissions

To manage authors, you need specific permissions. You can configure these via:

  • Admin > Employees > Permissions > Edit





Don’t have these permissions yet? You can assign them to yourself or ask the administrator of your academy to do this for you.


Managing authors in a microlearning

Once you have the correct permissions, you will see an ‘Authors’ tab for each microlearning.

Here, you can:

  • View authors

  • Add authors (provided they have access to the authoring tool)

  • Change author permissions

  • Send an email to an author

  • Remove an author



Note: The person who originally created the training in Studytube always retains full author rights and can therefore also add other authors.

You can combine different permissions to assign the appropriate set of rights to an author for each specific situation.
