How Do I Create a Training via an External Link?

Would you like to add an online training that is hosted externally, without any integration or progress tracking? You can easily do this by adding a link in the LMS.

Creating a Training via a Link

1. In the LMS, go to Library > Create.
2. Click Create an online training in the top-right corner.
3. In the selection menu, choose the option Link.
4. All you need now is the external URL where the training is hosted.

What Happens to Progress Tracking?

Because this training is not synchronized with an external platform, Studytube cannot automatically track progress.

However, the employee can manually indicate that the training has been completed. Once this is done:

• The status is recorded in the employee’s learning overview.

• The completion appears in the reporting.
