Discover page

The discovery page is designed to inspire you and help you explore new content. It’s part of your dashboard – as long as it’s been enabled by your academy administrators.

What can you find on the discovery page?

  • Search bar
At the top of the page, you’ll see a large search bar. You can easily enter keywords here to find relevant content.

  • Categories
Just below the search bar, you’ll find several highlighted themes or categories, allowing you to quickly browse through interesting topics.

  • Popular online courses
This section shows courses that are highly rated and frequently started.

  • Studytube’s top picks
A selection of recommended courses curated by Studytube. This section is only visible if the Studytube library is enabled in your academy.

  • Scheduled internal events
Upcoming internal events are also shown on the discovery page, so you know what’s coming up.

  • Featured course & articles
At the very bottom, you’ll find a highly rated course and a selection of interesting articles.

How do you activate the discovery page?
Want to make the discovery page visible to users? You can easily set this up in the LMS.

Activating the discovery page

  • Go to Academy Settings in the LMS

  • Go to Discover Page

  • Toggle the switch to ‘Yes’. The page will be immediately visible in your academy.

Featured Content

  • Here it is possible to add one or more learning interventions that will be shown on the Discover Page.
  • To do this, first turn the toggle on.
  • Next, you can add items using the “Add learning” button.
  • You can also change the order by clicking the six dots on the left and dragging the learning item up or down.

Page order

  • It is also possible to adjust the order of the items displayed on the Discover Page.
  • Here as well, you can change the order using the six dots on the left and manage the visibility via the three dots on the right.
Attention! Please note that if you use custom names for learning items in the Academy, the names might differ from the ones in the table below

Why is a section set to “visible” not showing on the page?

A section will only be displayed when the employee has enough visible, not-yet-started items available to show.

If items are hidden, already started, completed, or if too few items remain, the section will automatically be hidden.

Additional settings
In addition to activating the discovery page, you can also:

  • Choose the landing page
Decide whether users land on the dashboard or directly on the discovery page after logging in.

  • Set a background image
Upload an image that will be shown on the discovery page.
For best results, we recommend an aspect ratio of 16:9 (1920x1080 px).
