How does the search function work?

Modified on Fri, 08 Sep 2023 at 03:04 PM

When you search for a certain learning item, you can use the search function at the top of the page in the academy or the search function on the discovery page.

By using a specific search term, results will be shown of all available learning formats. If you use the search bar at the top of the page, only the results of the learning format you're searching for will be shown. If you use the search function on the discovery page, the micro learnings will always be displayed first. It is possible that there are no search results for micro learnings, but there are for external offers, for example. The options menu at the top of the page allows you to switch between the different learning formats.

Searches will always be performed for learning items which are visible within your learning environment. These are learning items set to 'Visible for all' and are thus part of the library and learning items which are assigned to you from the LMS.

If the search function at the top of the page is used, suggestions will be displayed here. If you click on a suggestion, this will be the search keyword used. Suggestions display possible learning items you are searching for. When you click on one of these learning items, you are immediately directed to the information page of the learning item in question.

Keep in mind that the entire search keyword is used for searching. If a field contains part of the search term, it will not be displayed in the search results.
