How can I bring a course to people’s attention on the discover page?

If you would like to draw attention to certain courses on the discover page of the academy without actively assigning them, you can feature this training on the discover page.

You can set this up by following the steps below:

- Go to the LMS

- Go to Settings

- Go to Academy Settings

- Scroll down and go to ‘Discover page'

- Activate 'enable featured learning items' by setting the button to 'yes'.

 - Click on 'add learning items' to add learning items to be featured on the discover page. You can add up to 12 items.

The requirements for users to see the learning items featured on the discover page are that the learning item must also be set to visible in the LMS (visible to all or visible to some) for the user and that the user hasn’t yet taken or started the learning item.

Note! When you’ve added the learning items, it makes sense that you want to test how it looks in the academy. However, learning items that you as a user have already taken or started will no longer show as featured on your discover page. This is because this feature should encourage new course, so only learning items you haven't started yet will be shown on the discover page.
